Baby Goats

Well, we still have some time before they will arrive but Mamma and Missy are definitely showing signs that they are carrying babies. In the past, Mamma has had 3 sets of twins and Missy has had one set of twins. We are hoping they will give us twins again, although Mamma looks like she's carrying triplets! Mamma and Missy are Nubian/Alpine cross and we are hoping to catch the birth of the kids on video so we can share it with you. After the kids are born we will be able to start milking the does and then onto the fun of making  yogurt, cheese, ice cream; which we will definitely video to share with you.

The Barn

There is never a bad day to be in the Barn. It doesn't matter if its 110 degrees outside, the barn is going to be much cooler. The wind can be blowing 40 miles an hour and in the Barn it is not. When its below zero the Barn is always going to be warmer. Doesn't matter if its snowing, raining, or the most beautiful sunny day, its always a good day in the Barn!

Not to mention how much the critters love it, when you spend time in the Barn!
